| Visualizing data redundancy |

In one of my earlier blog entries I elaborated redundancy in federated information systems. The following picture illustrates such redundancy. Cluster map technology is used there to represent overlappings of entity attribute clusters. Each cluster represents entity attributes in an information system description. Overlapping areas represent entity attributes, which are potentially redundant, since they appear in several clusters at the same time.

Hello Peep,
I came into your blog occassionally and found this article when searching on the net to find info about how to use Aduna Cluster Map to visaulize the cluster reuslts which are generated by using Carrot API. I noticed that you said ".... The clusters were generated with inhouse analytics software, while Aduna Cluster Map (http://www.aduna-software.com/...clustermap) was used for visualization. ..." I wonder if Aduna Cluster Map has any special requirements on the input data,i.e., the cluster results. What attributes are necessary. Cluster label? anything esle? The quesion of how to use Adunda Cluster Map has stuck me for a long time. The project deadline is very tight. Would you please give me some instructions on how to use Aduna Cluster Map. Could you please show me some example codes. Looking forward to your reply. Your help will be appreciated very much. Felix This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
